It started with an empty hinge.

With the doors off, that unused hinge looked like the perfect place to add a little personality. We liked the idea of showing some flair, but bumper stickers were never our thing—they’re a little too permanent. Interchangeable patches offered a better answer: display what you like today and change it whenever the mood strikes.

That simple observation became Doorless Designs, a small, family-owned business based in Apex, North Carolina.

Our mounts are genuinely created in-house. Ideas are sketched, designs are modeled, prototypes are printed and tested, and the finished products are manufactured and prepared for shipment—all under one roof. Keeping the process close allows us to refine every detail and personally stand behind what we make.
